* * * IIP: 143 Title: Update Investment Account Multisig Status: Proposal Author: @Finance.Nest - @Matthew_Graham and @ahuja Gov Review: @sixtykeys Created: 15th March 2022 * * * # Simple Summary This proposal seeks to modify the signers on the Investment Account Gnosis Safe. During recent efforts to deploy capital from this wallet we experienced difficulties in being able to find times where all signers were available. Investment Account: [‘0x462A63D4405A6462b157341A78Fd1baBfD3F8065’](https://etherscan.io/address/0x462A63D4405A6462b157341A78Fd1baBfD3F8065) # Abstract The 4 of 7 multisig configuration implemented from [IIP–112](https://gov.indexcoop.com/t/iip-112-update-investment-account-multisig/3251) is to remain and two signers are to be swapped out. @dylan and @Pepperoni_Joe are to be replaced with the more active @ElliottWatts and @anthonyb.eth Details around the type of assets held within the Investment Account are discussed in the [Investment Account Strategy Details](https://gov.indexcoop.com/t/investment-account-strategy-details/2792) forum post and monthly Investment Account updates provided by @ahuja. The strategies deployed within the Investment Account are expected to be updated more frequently in the near future as we are witnessing the yield across DeFi fluctuate with market conditions. There is also the possibility that capital from the Investment Account is to be used as collateral and therefore we need to ensure there are active and available signers on the account. # Motivation In the near future we expect to see the USDC from the Community Treasury Transferred to the Investment Account. This IIP is preparing this wallet to be able to accommodate more actively managed positions. Note, this simply means responding to market conditions and being a bit more agile than the list of previous signers enabled. # Specification Amend the Investment Account signers as shown below: - Remove @Dylan - Remove @Pepperoni_Joe - Add @ElliottWatts - Add @anthonyb.eth The new signer structure will be: | Location | Roles | Operations Account | | --- | --- | --- | | United States America | Product Nest | @anthonyb.eth | | United States America | Product Nest | @ncitron | | United Kingdom | Finance Nest | @ElliottWatts | | United Kingdom | Finance Nest | @Matthew_Graham | | United Kingdom | Growth Nest | @MrMadila | | United States America | Investment Account Manager | @Ahuja | | United States America | Governance Nest | @oneski22 | The Investment Account will be a 4 of 7 signer wallet. # Voting FOR: DO remove @dylan , remove @Pepperoni_Joe add @anthonyb.eth and add @ElliottWatts. Sorry @Matthew_Graham when you say _admin support_ are you referring to having this IIP reviewed by a GovRep and the status changed to “Proposed” in accordance with this [established procedure](https://docs.indexcoop.com/governance/index-improvement-proposals-iips); or do you require additional assistance? ---

gm @Matthew_Graham - Looking for some clarity on a few things: - In terms of roles it appears we’re removing a Set team signer and an IC core team signer and adding two IC core team signers; given that @oneski22 is the only remaining non-core signer would it make sense to move further toward that composition with this IIP? Some insight as the the holistic composition of the proposed wallet-signers would be useful in helping me decide. - When will this change be implemented should this IIP pass? Please update this within the body of the post. - Given that the proposer here is an account with permissioning unknown, please assign a DRI for execution of this proposal should it pass within the body of the post.
