**Objective of the Metaverse Index (MVI):**

MVI is designed to capture the trend of entertainment, social activity and business moving to take place in virtual economies, powered by NFTs and blockchain technology. The MVI uses a combination of the square root of market cap and DEX liquidity to arrive at the final index weights.

**MVI Rebalance Weights:**

_Weights were calculated as of September 30th 2022_

Here’s the change in allocations with “current” allocation taken at the time of calculation.

**Rebalance summary:**

We continued to use spot liquidity and spot market cap values for the basis of the weight calculations. REVV and RARI are still frozen due to low liquidity, AXS was also frozen for this rebalance and for the same reason, low liquidity. On the positive side APE token has been added, it has decent DEX liquidity and meets the inclusion criteria for MVI, never mind the fact it’s probably the most well-known ‘Metaverse’ project both inside and out of crypto.
