@ mrvls_brkfst, thank you for the time to put up this well thought proposal.

A small correction if I may: there is no “Brazilian”, there is European Portuguese (PT-PT) and Brazilian Portuguese (PT-BR).

The translator of the article you linked in your post is doing a good job, if the community still needs help there, let me know as I am a translator for another project.
