Security of Underlying Tokens

Not sure where to put this and am sure it’s been asked before, but my question is:

If I purchase an Index Coop token, what is the security method for the underlying tokens? Hot/Cold wallets?
Who is in charge of them? How do they deal with rebalancing?

All of the underlying products are held in Smart Contracts (which are neither hot or cold wallets). They are built using TokenSets v2 Architecture, the audits of which can be found here!
