Liquidity POD kick off

Intro

With the passing of IIP-110 we need to deliver on the mandate - it’s time to get moving. The goal is to have members and budget agreed by 10th December 2021 with the budget IIP going to snapshot on the 13th.

The first steps are to

  1. Set POD Structure (here)
  2. Outline the RAPID structure (here)
  3. Outline expected funding needed (RAPID to be finalised)
  4. Agree priorities (w/c 13 Dec 21)

Structure

The focus of the LiquidityPod will be doing analysis, building dashboards, planning and making recommendations. Key outputs will be the recommendation parts of liquidity related RAPIDS.

The main organisation will be via a shared discord, Notion board and weekly POD calls to check progress and discuss ideas.

  1. How are they kept accountable?
  • Announcement discord read only channel for each allocation, and
  • Weekly standup summary of liquidity
  1. How is it terminated if needed?
  • Council vote can disband

RAPID structure

Each RAPID will follow a similar structure with the Liquidity Pod tasked with the bulk of the work (identification of need, analysis, recommending, and retaining records). The key difference would be the agree and decide roles.

In case Finance Nest or Governance Nest disagree on a recommendation (effectively a veto), and TechnicalNest want to proceed without changes, the RAPID will be escalated to Wise Owl Council.

Recommend should be a single person from the pod, Agree should be 1 named individual from Growth and 1 from F.Nest (or Council). Input will depend on the RAPIDs aim.

Initial prioritisation

Establishment

  1. stand up pod and group members (today)
  2. RAPID for Liquidity Budget to end March 2022 (Decide 10th Dec for IIP vote starting 13th Dec 2021)

Operational Liquidity decisions

  1. Take ownership of existing liquidity including ETH2x-FLI-P
  2. BED:ETH liquidity
  3. INDEX liquidity - (IIP-109 under snapshot)
  4. MVI migration (IIP draft)
  5. DPI migration (pre christmas)
  6. $GMI goto market liquidity (December)

Structural decisions to make and act on within 30 days

  1. Agree on pod mandate and publish on forum
  2. Agree OKR’s for Liquidity pod
  3. Dashboard for current products
  4. Set up Notion
  5. Weekly reporting from first week once instantiated
