Governance Call Agenda - 002

Index Coop’s second governance call is scheduled for Tuesday, October 27th @9am PST.

1. Technical Rules & Agenda - Inje

• Purpose : Prevent technical difficulties / distractions
• Stay muted unless you’re speaking
• This call will be recorded. If you don’t want your voice to be recorded you can type in chat.
• Governance meetings will be timeboxed. Any longer discussions can continue in the related governance post after the call.

2. Community Member Introductions (< 5 minutes) - Inje

• Purpose : Put a face to the discord username; Build trust and acknowledgment of each attendee and allow each person to at least contribute 1 thing to the conversation

3. Index Coop by Numbers - (< 5 minutes) Richard

• Purpose : Progress update on Index Coop growth metrics

4. Making DPI a Productive Asset - (20 minutes) Richard

• Purpose : Alignment on next product strategy
• How do we deliver yield on the DeFi Pulse Index
• The 2% Cash Grab @overanalyser
• DPI as a productive Asset @richard

5. Redemption & Minting Fees - (15 minutes) Etienne

• Purpose : Alignment on next product strategy
• How should we parameterize a redeem or minting fee?
• Add a 0,5% redeeming fee to DeFi Pulse Index @Etienne

5. Housekeeping (10 minutes) - Inje

• Upcoming Website Changes (Inje & Etienne)
  1. More changes to the index coop are coming down the pipeline
  2. Inje and Etienne to present the new designs and vision for the website going forward
  3. Feedback welcome!
• IIP-003 (Dylan) - Adopt a Code of Conduct
  1. Governance forum poll concludes Monday Oct. 26th. 7pm PST
  2. The poll currently has a super majority and will likely pass.
  3. As next steps, the Code of Conduct will be pinned on Discord and Index Coop community related websites.
• IIP-004 (Dylan) - Create a Treasury Committee
  1. Governance forum poll will begin Tuesday Oct. 27th and will end Tuesday Nov. 4th
  2. If a supermajority (>90%) of forum votes approves the proposal, it will be marked as passed.
  3. If a supermajority can not be reached on the forum, a snapshot voting date will be set up.
• IIP-005 (Brian) - Trustless Rebalance Process
  1. Governance forum poll concludes Monday Oct. 26th. 7pm PST
  2. The poll currently has a super majority and will likely pass.
  3. As next steps, a follow up IIP with parameters for the upcoming November Rebalance Process will be submitted.
  4. This is part of a larger on going effort to educate + develop & attract rebalance execution experts to the Index Coop community.

Post Meeting & Closing - Inje

1. After this call we’ll make a forum post with details about the call, like where to find notes, the recording etc.
2. In the comments section of that post we can continue discussion and propose new topics for the agenda of the next governance meeting
