Addressing market volatility

In the tweeted words of @afromac, Index Coop builds products for every situation. Let our smart contracts & risk automation modules watch liquidity pools & leverage ratios, so you don’t have to.

Over the last week, there has been a significant divergence between the prices of $stETH and $ETH. Index Coop and Lido have been working in concert to ensure the health of icETH and stETH while managing long-tail risks. @kindeagle wrote Index Coop’s official response; key takeaway: $FLI & $icETH continue to automatically rebalance in the face of extremely volatile market conditions.

April 2022 Financial Report

@ElliottWatts and F.Nest have published our the April 2022 Financial Report. April marked the start of Q2 for the Index Coop; we have a new focus on yield bearing products and have released our first iteration of this in icETH.

icETH has seen strong market fit for its first month post release and at the end of April had $18.8m in AUM. We differentiate from other interest bearing ETH products, we offer the most competitive interest rate in the market, this has resonated with a number of DAOs who are hoping to diversify their treasury into our products.

Owl Solidarity <3

On Wednesday’s Leadership Forum, we went through results of February’s Owl Pulse Survey. We came out with a few things to celebrate and a few opportunities for improvement. Key areas of growth are in practical commitment to our vision, diversity of Contributors, and ensuring our DAO acts like a DAO.

Based survey results, contributors want three things from their experience: to believe, to belong, and to matter. HC&C Pod has a revised remit for the remainder of Season 1 to make these things happen.

Dig into the slides and check out this slidedeck for a detailed version of results.

Growth in Growth Nest

Growth Nest Lead @0x_Dev published G.Nest’s (Semi) Mid-Season Review. Highlights include spend ~23% under budget, demonstrated commitment to new product strategy, and new G.Nest full time hires: @Pepperoni_Joe, @funkmasterflex, @kindeagle, and @TheYoungCrews.

G.Nest is focused on two goals: (1) Increasing the availability and accessibility of our products and (2)
Generating global awareness and understanding of our products and brand. Look forward to the release of a Growth Strategy plan in the next couple of weeks.

There’s no shortage of industry and educational events in DeFi and crypto. Along with taking part in events worldwide, Index Coop hosts a number of events to help people learn about crypto index products.
