From Zero to $10 Million Real Quick (Now > $11 Million)
Our collective efforts from ideation/construction in Product Nest, to Liquidity Pod/Finance Nest getting the numbers straight/capital requirements in order, and Growth Nest, Community Nest and all our contributors/community members playing their part with memes, beats and on social, $icETH is the most successful product launch in the history of Index Coop. New Index Coop App, Who Dis?
The Index Coop web app just keeps getting better. Our engineering team has worked hard on the design and functionality to improve the buying and selling experience.
Now, when you first enter the app site, you’ll be greeted by a new custom dashboard feature. By connecting your wallet, you’ll gain immediate insights into your portfolio of Index Coop products and transaction history. The improvements also include updated buy/sell widgets and a more straightforward product navigation structure.
Other areas of improvement include:
- Better execution for FLI traders on Polygon
- Cleaner design and more intuitive UI

Talk MetaGov to Me…Hit It C.C.
After addressing how to improve respectful discourse and the recent open letter from Set & 1kx, a long overdue, open discussion was held around improving Index Coop’s approach to metagovernence. Asynchronous Forum posts, comments, and Discord chatter have done little to facilitate constructive progress on this grand opportunity.
While it’s an adjacent function to us building and launching the best index products in crypto, the potential of building win-win relationships, network effects of partnering with other protocols, and becoming a steward for all of DeFi are opportunities not to be squandered.
@Matthew_Graham went step by step about how he viewed the opportunity and a potential path forward with GovHouse with some potential protocol partners. Some healthy Q&A and feedback took place and contributors throughout the DAO benefited from this constructive dialogue.

Building Trust with COID
Index Coop is implementing a process for Conflict of Interest Disclosures (COIDs). The aim is to provide a more consistent and transparent process for COIDs as a foundation for better COI management.
The process entails Coop contributors having their COID on file and being able to control the visibility of that COID. The term contributor means specifically ‘Verified Contributor’ throughout. The scope only covers contributors and not external methodologists or other stakeholders. Check out the Forum post from @JosephKnecht
